A Computer Science Engineer by training, Shobhankita spent her early career at Wipro’s Innovation Centers first as a software developer and then as a Consultant with a focus on software sales and Wipro’s Open Innovation program.

The technology startup ecosystem intrigued her and she found herself through a chain of events, and some luck, in the Venture world.

At Speciale, she is focused on enterprise software investments, specifically in sectors such as data infrastructure, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and developer tools. She believes in the potential of technology as a force for good, and is excited by the ground-breaking work that startups are pursuing, an excitement she gets to be inspired by daily.

A Bollywood movie buff with a fondness for dosa and filter coffee, she likes to spend her free time reading and relaxing by the beach.
